These inquisitive house sparrows were fluttering around the new nestbox for about 5 minutes before they gave up. There were five or six of them at one point.
Not sure what they were doing. It’s not nesting season, and they probably would not fit through the hole anyway. It’s sized at 1 1/8 inches. I’m trying to attract wrens and chickadees, not house sparrows. But they were fun to watch.
