oh wow! It’s not often someone gets a chance to get a shot like that. Have you noticed too that the robins this year seem particularly big? The ones here in Michigan are huge!

The robins do seem big this year, and there are lots of them too. There are at least 3 nests in a one acre area around my yard.

What a great shot….that’s a lot of worm for such a baby bird. Do you know if there are more babies in the nest? Maybe Mama bird passed it around.
I only saw one little head pop up for the worm. I think there is only one nestling. I have several pairs of cowbirds in the yard and they do steal eggs. Difficult to know for sure because the nest is high up in the eaves on top of a stereo speaker on the neighbor’s house.
Wow! That chick ordered some serious ‘take-out’!
