Wrens are very territorial. If I got anywhere near the nestbox filled with chriping baby wrens, momma wren would let me know about it. She was quite loud for such a tiny bird.

      Yeah, about that birdhouse. That is my ornamental birdhouse that I put in a tree above my flower barrels because it’s cute.

      I have three very plain boxes mounted under the eaves on the house and garage for nesting birds and they picked this one which swings from a wire in a tree! And is also out front near the street and traffic. Go figure.
