I’m Leslie. My garden is in the Midwestern USA in a suburb near Chicago, Illinois. I’ve been growing flowers and veggies for 20 years and I’m still learning new things.

I enjoy watching the birds and other creatures that pass through my backyard and also taking part in citizen science projects. Science has always been one of my passions.

I like to share and this is my place to post about things I’ve learned, things I like, photos I’ve taken, discuss my garden, favorite recipes and other interests. I love to cook with fresh herbs and veggies that I grow and share my recipes.
