Have a safe and happy 4th of July. A very patriotic looking American Robin perched on a branch in front of the flag yesterday. In reality he was guarding over some fledglings hopping around in my yard, but his pose made a nice picture.

My favorite holiday. On July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed declaring independence from Great Britain. 233 years later we celebrate with picnics, barbecues, fireworks and parades.
