Robins Have Returned

Last week a few robins were in my backyard. Perhaps checking it out for a nesting site or stopping by on the way back north. Either way it was a welcome site after a nasty winter.
Yesterday I spotted about eight robins poking around in the leaves when I went for a walk at a nearby park.

Ready for Spring.
Happy Vernal Equinox.
This year spring will arrive on March 20th at 11:44 (UTC) when the sun will be directly above the equator. That will be about 6:47 am Chicago time.
I’m ready. I’ve had quite enough winter. And to celebrate Spring’s arrival, I’ve created a new avatar.
